Aaliyah Dani Houghton was born in Brooklyn, New York city 16th, January 1979. Aaliyah's family moved to Detroit in 1984.

News hit the entertainment industry and fans like a bomb, Aaliyah was dead. On August 25th, 2001 A small plane crashed in Marsh Harbour, Abaco Island, the Bahamas. Amongst those who perished was singer and actress Aaliyah and her entourage.
